Services

There are many different ways that counsellors work, and support clients. For me, I specifically work with clients from a bottom-up approach, meaning that I find deep importance in working with feelings and sensations in the body, opposed to just cognitive thinking and ways of being. Our bodies hold our stories, and it is our bodies that connect us back to our wisdom and truth, moving us towards healing. I work mainly from a relational, somatic, and experiential approach, drawing from the current research in relational neurobiology and neuroscience.

I pull from multiple theories and frameworks to support you in your journey:

  • Internal Family Systems
  • Somatic Based Therapy
  • Emotional Focused Therapy
  • Experiential Therapy
  • Attachment Based Therapy
  • Trauma Informed Therapy
  • PolyVagal Theory
  • Play Therapy & Sand Tray Therapy

There is no “one size fits all” when it comes to therapy, which means that I have the honour of catering treatment to meet my client's needs, in ways where they get to feel safe, seen and known. My services don’t come with the intention of “fixing” you, because I don’t believe that you need fixing. Instead, I fully believe that you are already whole, and it’s your innate biological pull towards healing that will guide our sessions.

I reserve a small number of spots on my caseload for children ages 2-12 who are in need of play and sandtray therapy to work through attachment and trauma related difficulties. If you are seeking this support for a child in your care, please reach out
